You will visit the best wildlife destinations in Botswana and Zimbabwe, astounding your children with magnificent sightings of Africa’s famous wildlife and special brand of magic.  Professional guides will ensure your family’s needs are taken care of, while you sit back, relax, and enjoy a holiday of a lifetime with your family!

Day 1 – 3: KHWAI CONCESSION, BOTSWANA (Khwai Tented Camp)
The Khwai area of the Okavango lies along the northern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve. This is an unfenced boundary allowing wildlife to move freely between the woodlands in the wet season, when water is plentiful, and back to the permanent rivers and lagoons in the dry season. The Khwai area offers the same wildlife experience as the Reserve with the added advantage of being a private concession, which means the ability to do walking safaris and night drives.

From Maun International Airport you will be transferred by light aircraft to Khwai Tented Camp. Khwai Tented Camp has recently been relocated to a semi-permanent site on the eastern border of Moremi Game Reserve. The new exclusive location on the banks of a lagoon flowing into the Khwai River, acts as a boundary between the reserve and the community area, offering visitors staying here several unique ways to experience Africa.

Besides daytime game drives, which often feature Africa’s big players – lion, cheetah, leopard, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, hippo and giraffe – at Khwai Tented Camp you will have the opportunity to explore the area after sunset on night drives. This activity, along with the guided walking safaris, allows an up close and personal experience with some of Africa’s nocturnal and more elusive animals. The camp also provides the opportunity to explore enormous leadwood and mopane forests, as well as open grasslands and the banks of the Khwai River on foot.

The camp preserves the romance of a bygone era. There are no permanent structures; everything can be removed to leave the wilderness exactly as it was found. You will enjoy spacious and comfortable tented accommodation, and private en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and bucket showers under the African night sky.

As the Khwai is a community-run concession all proceeds from tourism go directly to help local people and local projects through the Khwai Community Trust.

Day 4 – 6: LINYANTI CONCESSION, BOTSWANA (Linyanti Bush Camp)
Bordering the western boundary of Chobe in the Chobe Enclave, Linyanti Bush Camp is an intimate 12-bedded tented camp on the banks of the Linyanti marsh, in a private reserve. Linyanti Bush Camp offers the perfect setting for an authentic and wild safari experience. As the only source of water in the dry months, the Linyanti marsh is one of the most sought-after destinations in northern Botswana, boasting a great diversity of game and a peaceful atmosphere.

The area offers spectacular birding all year round and is best known for its enormous herds of elephants that move down to the Linyanti River at the start of the winter months, and only move back inland once the rains arrive. Lion, sable antelope, roan antelope, leopard, and wild dog are also frequent visitors, as is the elusive sitatunga antelope, red lechwe, hippo and crocodile.

Activities from the camp include game drives, walking safaris, game viewing from hides, spot-lighting, bird watching, boating and fishing safaris as well as guided mokoro safaris, when water levels permit.

Accommodation at the Linyanti Bush Camp offers spacious tents, comfortable beds, and en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets, fixed showers and hot water.

Day 7 & 8: VICTORIA FALLS (Victoria Falls Safari Suites)
One of the original natural wonders of the world, Victoria Falls is a World Heritage Site. Known locally as ‘The Smoke that Thunders’ this spectacle is accessible from both Zambia and Zimbabwe, and is an ideal place to combine game viewing and adrenalin-surging water sports. There is excellent fishing, a terrifying bungee jump and arguably the best commercial white water rafting in the world.

On day seven you will fly via light aircraft from the Linyanti to Kasane, and then transfer by road to Victoria Falls Safari Suites, part of the flagship Victoria Falls Safari Lodge.

The Safari Suites are ideal for families, small close–knit groups and couples who seek extra space and comfort. There are three-bedroom and two-bedroom options, all of which are en-suite.

Each Safari Suite is split-level and fully air-conditioned, and has a spacious lounge with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening out onto a patio. All bedrooms are equipped with 2 x three-quarter beds that can be converted to king size beds.

Day 9 – 11: HWANGE NATIONAL PARK (Somalisa Camp)
Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe’s biggest reserve, home to a variety of wildlife, including giraffe, lion, zebra, a huge elephant population, and a population of wild dogs thought to be among the most sizeable surviving groups on the continent. Terrain ranges from desert dunes and savannah, to rocky outcrops and sparse forests.  You’ll have the choice of game drives, guided walks or horseback safaris.

On day nine you will fly via light aircraft from Victoria Falls International Airport to Hwange, and the beautiful Somalisa Camp, which is set in the heart of Hwange National Park.  Nestled in a remote location, on an acacia island along the edge of an ancient seasonal flood plain, Somalisa provides guests with breathtaking views of savannah plains. Somalisa is also known for its big elephant herds.

Recently re-built, Somalisa Camp has upgraded its level of accommodation to that of utter comfort and luxury, with absolute focus on customer service.

Your safari ends on day 12 with an air transfer back to Victoria Falls International Airport.
